IP65-rated Ethernet/DMX processor for converting, routing, and merging DMX/RDM data in a network.

Made for any outdoor event

LumiNode 8-IP is designed with an IP65 rated, all metal, robust enclosure,withstanding extreme temperature conditions, making it an ideal solution for outdoor AV installs and live performances. Equipped with 2x 1Gb IP65 ethercon ports and 8 DMX/RDM ports with IP65 5-pin connectors, LumiNode 8-IP offers flexibility in a weather proof package. Each port is fully optically and galvanically isolated and can be configured as an in- or output.

All relevant industry standard protocols such as Art-Net, sACN, KiNET, RTTrPL (Blacktrax) are supported and can be processed and converted in no less than 12 onboard process engines supporting HTP, LTP, Crossfade, Backup, Switch and Custom merging modes with soft patch functionality.

Smart management with Araneo app & NFC

LumiNode 8-IP can be managed using any NFC-compatible smart device. With the Araneo app (available on the App Store and Play Store), you can easily read the switch’s status, Groups (VLANs), port settings, and more—simply by tapping your phone. Configuration settings can be conveniently adjusted within the app and stored back on the LumiNode 8-IP, even when the unit is not powered on!

Intuitive UI

The built-in web UI delivers a great user experience. Process engines can be easily configured in a very intuitive workflow. Just decide what you like to do with your lighting data by choosing the mode of the process engine. Depending on the chosen merging/routing policy of the engine, the UI presents all possible input configurations. From here you just connect your input streams and your output connections. Everything can be easily stored and recalled into profiles for later usage.

Advanced networking

Use the full capacity of the Gigabit connectivity by sending different data in a different Group (VLAN). Setup a separate interface for IT monitoring without interfering with critical lighting data. The known Group (VLAN) technology from GigaCore switches is also available in the LumiNode product family. This allows you to freely assign a different Group (VLAN) to the different network connectors and to the node’s interfaces. ISL (Inter Switch Link) and custom trunks are available to transfer different VLANs on one ethernet connection.

Integration with web API

LumiNode features a fully documented web API, making the unit ideal for integration and automation in installation projects. All configuration or manipulation (like recalling profiles, configuring engines, triggering play,…) can be done via web API (REST/JSON). Offering the maximum flexibility to integrate with any other hardware or software to control your infrastructure.
